Client Profile:

A top ten global automotive supplier with €8.5bn in sales, 266 industrial sites, 39 R&D centers and 114,000 employees in 35 countries.


Client Challenge:

Acquiring the operations of large manufacturing plant in the U.S. market was a key step for the global growth plan of a French auto supplier. Several thousand various parts are manufactured in the facility, with varying degrees of commodity based aspects in their overall bills of material. The previous owner did not need to account for these changes so there was no current process in place. Management understood the need for streamlining and automating the price change management process, and for developing custom reports for auditing and forecasting price changes.


Approach & Solution:

Herndonwood consultants worked with management and realized that the mapping of business processes and the development of an automated tools was key to this initiative.​

Business Impact:

Herndonwood provided the necessary support for the Business Continuity Team to meet regulatory requirements in the desired timeframe; documentation of all of the requirements was completed and provided to senior management, internal auditors, and external regulators. Herndonwood’s involvement with the team also resulted in improvements, including enhanced templates and documentation, which is furthering the maturity of the program.
